主催の一般社団法人ユニサカは、
「自分たちが 大学サッカーを 変えていく」というフィロソフィーのもと
活動している団体です。
ユニサカは、学生がより良い環境でスポーツができるように取り組んでおり、
スポーツにおける人権問題の解決をひとつの目標においています。
ユニサカは、そのプロセスの一つとして、
「スポーツにおける男女平等を考える」をテーマとする勉強会を開催しました。
ゲストスピーカーは、国際的なスポーツ界で人権問題に取り組んできた
ミンキー・ウォーデンさん（ヒューマン・ライツ・ウォッチグローバル構想部長）と、
世界で初めてサッカー男女代表チームの同一賃金を実現させた
ケイト・ギルさん（オーストラリア選手協会共同代表）です。

The organizer of this session, Unisocc Incorporated Association（”Unisocc”）, is an organization that works under the philosophy of “Taking ownership to improve soccer in universities “. Unisocc is working to provide a better environment for students to play sports and one of its goals is to ensure human rights in sports.
As a part of the pathway to the goal, Unisocc had a session titled “What Is Gender Equality in Sports” with two guest speakers. Ms. Minky Worden (Human Rights Watch Director of Global Initiatives) has been tackling human rights issues in sports. Ms. Kate Gill (Co-Chairs Professional Footballers Australia) is the first person in the world who realized equal pay in men’s and women’s national soccer teams.
